One of the more popular types of radio controlled vehicles are now the Radio Controlled Nitro RC Trucks. The engines on these high powered vehicles can push it to speeds of 30-40 mph and higher. They are truly in a class all their own. The nice thing about them is that you can buy them (RTR) or ready to run right off the shelf. These powerful trucks can run at more than 40 000 RPM and have extreme torque so they get up to speed very quickly. The fuel tanks are big enough to run a Nitro RC Truck for approximately 15-20 minutes and you can refuel them very quickly with little down time. They run on a nitro fuel blend that is fairly expensive but is worth it ten fold in the fun you will have with your rc truck.

RC Nitro Trucks are also very durable and can take a fair beating over jumps bumps and general obstacles. I’m NOT saying you should set up a 5’ ramp and jump it (that might damage your truck) and would just be stupid!
